AI-based unsafe situation image recognition technology on R&D in the Chung-Ang University Laboratory has been set up at the Smart Construction Test Bed Operation Center for a demonstration.
The technology is an object detection approach that recognizes workers wearing and not wearing safety helmets on construction sites. It alerts workers to unsafe actions by playing an audible alarm through the device's speaker.
Thanks to researchers Dr. Syed Farhan Alam Zaidi, Muhammad Sibtain Abbas, and Kim Dohyeong for installing of the technology at the Smart Construction Test Bed Operations Center.
